Our external circlips are manufactured in accordance with DIN 471. They are used to secure shafts. The dimensions are given by the diameter of the shaft, but it is not possible to determine the exact size of the ring by measuring it. The circlip is installed using seeger pliers, which hold the seeger lock together with the mounting eyes, expand it and slide it into the groove on the shaft. When released, the circlip is tightened and anchored securely.
